During this wine tasting tour, visitors will try different varieties of grapes, different styles of wine and appreciate the differences in the production techniques used. This will help visitors develop their palate and discover new wines they may not have tasted before.

This tasting of premium wines, carefully selected by experts, will take place at the Winery. During the tasting, visitors will be able to try different wines and learn about their characteristics, including the grapes used, the region of origin and the production techniques. Moreover, the quality and characteristics of the wine will be determined based on sight, smell, and taste.

Visitors will acquire the basics, after which, improving is simply a matter of practice. To achieve this, visitors must follow three main steps: educate the senses, memorize sensations and learn how to express their impressions.

During the visit, there will also be the opportunity to purchase some premium wines produced at the winery to take home as a souvenir of the visit. A visit to the Finca Viladellops Winery is an unforgettable experience for wine lovers looking to discover and appreciate the region’s best wines.

Are there visits for large groups?

There is no limit to the number of people per visit, as we have several wine tourism guides and they can be adapted. However, for groups of more than 12 people, contact us at “eventos@viladellops.com”, in order to organize the visit.

Can I cancel the visit?

In the case of not being able to come to the visit, you must notify 48 hours in advance, then you will be offered the option to change the date of the visit. In the case of not coming to the visit, no refunds are made.

Can you come with dogs?

Of course! The visit can be made with dogs, although the only requirement is to bring them on a leash so as not to disturb the other visitors.

How many houses are there in Finca Viladellops?

There are a total of 20 houses, of which 3 are reserved for holiday rental.

How many people live at Finca Viladellops?

The number of people who live there varies according to the time of year, they range between 35 and 40 inhabitants.

In what language is the visit?

The visit can be in Catalan, Spanish, English and French, all our guides are fluent in all four languages. Tours can also be done in German, but the request must be made in advance.

Is it possible to enter the S.XI Tower?

Access to this area is not possible, as it is considered a “Good of Cultural Interest”.

Is the visit adapted for people with reduced mobility?

Yes. Mobility around Finca Viladellops is easy and safe for everyone. Inside the winery we have an elevator to facilitate mobility during the visit.

Is there an entrance fee for children?

Children under the age of 18 do not pay entry, but it is important to communicate in advance the number of children who will be coming for good organization.

What if the weather is bad?

The visit continues, as part of it takes place inside our facilities.

What type of footwear is best for walking tours?

Comfortable footwear (boots or sports shoes) is recommended.

Where can I buy the wine?

In specialized stores in the sector, since, due to company policy, we do not sell in large stores.

Where is the parking?

We have two spaces to park, as Finca Viladellops has two entrances. On one side, the road coming from Sitges/Vilanova and, on the other, direction Vilafranca del Penedès. Both car parks are easy and convenient to access.

At only 10 minutes from Sitges there is that fantastic place where to discover Catalan wines and culture. When you book a tour and visit the village you discover not only how complex Catalan history is, but you also get a great introduction into the world of fine wine. There's a restaurant for lunch on weekends and after 18h a food truck serving gourmet food and great wines and live music! A must for every person looking for beauty, good wine and food.

Absolutely amazing. Very authentic experience as it’s a small family run winery. Someone from the family shows you around, and it’s not only about the cellar but you get to know so much about the history of the area and Catalunya in general (they are very knowledgeable!). You can see the passion they work with not only in the land but also in the wines. They are certified organic and they take this attitude also when it comes to the buildings and the landscape in general. Even for the white wines they leave them to naturally clarify and don’t add additives and they keep their sulfate level very low. On top if it there are also a lot of walking/hiking trails passing through the property so you can make it into a fun holiday too. Would suggest writing/calling in advance,as I said it’s a family run business. They speak English too 🙂

Molt bona experiència tan a la visita a la bodega com el restaurant. No poso un 5 pq alguns vins del tast que ens van agradar no tenien stock. El restaurant es menja molt bé. Tot el conjunt és molt maco. Tan la Deborah com la Elisabet molt agradables.

Hermosa experiencia recorriendo viñedos, bodega y el pintoresco pueblo de Viladellops que tiene una apasionante historia de 1000 años. Todo explicado con gran simpatía y sabiduría por la sumiller Ingrid. Visitamos la capilla, la torre de control y el museo con la rica historia de la familia Desvall. Todo terminó con una degustación guiada magníficamente por Ingrid donde disfrutamos de sus vinos ecológicos de variedades autóctonas como la Garnacha y el Xarello. Muchas gracias !

This gorgeous little winery is only about 15 minutes from Sitges and is a little gem. We enjoyed a lovely tour of the vineyard and by our guide Ingrid, who explained the wine making process, the history of the winery, the village and also Catalonia. The views are lovely, and the tour ended with tastings of some excellent wines and cavas. The whole experience was well organized, the winery is easy to get to and parking is also easy. We highly recommend a visit here. Ask for Ingrid!!

Ingrid ha estat molt amable i atenta. Ens ha introduït al terroir amb una classe per a tots els nivells i ens ha fet la visita fent-nos viatjar a través de les vinyes, l'ermita, la Torre i la bodega amb una explicació històrica de les terres que envolten la finca Viladellops acabant amb un tast amb unes magnífiques vistes.
